Discipleship is more than just getting saved – it's about fulfilling the Great Commission and actively making disciples throughout our Christian journey.

• Salvation is like first down at your own 20-yard line – you still have 70 yards to go in your walk with Christ.
• Fear of rejection and perceived lack of Biblical knowledge prevent many Christians from discipling others.
• Ephesians 2:1-10 provides a concentrated version of the Gospel message – a perfect starting point.
• Jesus modeled discipleship through on-the-job training with His disciples.
• Discipleship isn't about you working for God, but God working through you.
• Many Christians become like the Dead Sea or a sour sponge – taking in but never letting out.
• Being a disciple who makes disciples is our primary purpose – everything else is secondary.
• Prayer is important, but sometimes God says "stop praying and get moving."

Join us Sundays at the Patterson Center in Rockdale, Texas – coffee and fellowship at 10:00 AM, worship at 10:30 AM. We have a nursery and children's church available.
